Funny Friday Finance

During the pre-Christmas work dinner, post-work lull yesterday, I finally had a look at Justin Halpern’s book “Sh*t my dad says.” (Great book for a dad with a sense of humor for Father’s Day). Here’s a couple of funnies about money from the book:

“Don’t get mad at the overdraft charge… No, no – see, there’s your problem. You think of it as a penalty for taking out money you don’t have, but instead, it might help you to think of it as a reminder that you’re a dumb shit.”

“Why are you going over your monthly expenses? … No, let me shorten this process for you: You make dog shit, so don’t spend any money.”

A really cute money lesson from Pimp Your Finances and LOLCats: What Would Kitteh Do?

The always funny yet oddly sane Richly Reasonable aka “Crazy Peanut Butter Lady” had a great one in No Need to Stir.
